Château Le Sartre

“The wines of Sartre are remarkable and can compete with the great crus of Léognan. Le Sartre, renowned since the 14th century, is located southwest of Léognan, near Château de Fieuzal, and at the heart of the terroir where the Crus Classés of Graves are established. It was rediscovered and renovated by the Perrin family, owners of Carbonnieux. Mr. Bernard Magrez is the current owner. Today, managed by Château Pape-Clément, the 25-hectare estate produces white and red wines with a distinct personality and the typical characteristics of the Grands Crus of the Pessac-Léognan appellation.
