Château La Louviere

La Louvière is a castle of wonder. A neo-classical gem from the late 18th century, designed by architect François Lhôte and surrounded by a magnificent park. Art lovers know it for its rotunda salon, decorated by painter Lonsing with grisaille and a stunning ceiling depicting the loves of Psyche. André Lurton fell under its spell and acquired it in 1965. La Louvière would become the masterpiece of his life. Meticulously restored over 40 years, the property is now classified as a Historical Monument. Château La Louvière is a precious family heritage, with its wines among the great Bordeaux crus. Renowned for perfect and consistent quality, its name resonates whenever the appellation is mentioned. A true ambassador of the art of living, yet always welcoming and accessible, the castle offers tours and a boutique for wine enthusiasts. The full range of André Lurton Family cuvées is available. An oenotourism project began in 2021 with a complete renovation of the boutique, featuring a new route and a tasting terrace under the lime trees, with a view of the park.
