Château Luchey-Halde

Château Luchey-Halde, an urban vineyard located in the heart of the Bordeaux metropolitan area, is a 33-hectare estate, with 23 hectares planted with vines. This estate, which vanished after World War I but was preserved from urbanization due to military occupation, was completely reconstructed starting in 1999 by Bordeaux Sciences Agro, the National School of Agronomic Engineering. Planted on very fine gravelly slopes and equipped with modern cellars, the estate produces high-quality white and red wines. Aware of the challenges of current and future agriculture, the château has been committed for many years to sustainable practices that are more environmentally friendly. It is certified HVE (High Environmental Value) and engaged in a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) approach.
