Château D’Eyran

Château d’Eyran has been owned by the de Seze family since 1796, and they still own it today. The issues of joint ownership, the economic crisis, poor wine sales, and German occupation forced the family to pull out all the vines at the beginning of the 20th century. In the 1980s, with the support of Professor Stanislas de Seze, his granddaughter Brigitte and her husband Stéphane Savigneux began the restoration of the family vineyard. Part of a thoughtful approach to environmental quality, the 25-hectare vineyard is now managed by Stéphane and his son Charles, with a focus on respecting the terroir, which roots their red and white wines. The property is certified with High Environmental Value Level 3 (HVE 3). Its decidedly modern winery, made from traditional materials, subtly combines functionality and aesthetics, providing an exceptional setting for the wines of Château d’Eyran.
