Château Trigant

French Description: “Entered the Sèze family in 1860, Château Trigant is connected to an extraordinary family history, rich in artists, explorers, and long-haul captains.” The estate and its elegant chartreuse, built in the 18th century by Philippe Trigant, a lawyer at the Bordeaux Parliament, form a rare ensemble at the gates of Bordeaux. Its park consists of a large meadow, flowering groves, and centennial trees. The management of the park and vineyard is carried out with respect for the balance of biodiversity, which is essential for both the viticultural operation and its surroundings. Cultivated on a family scale, the vines thrive on 3.6 hectares of deep gravel, planted with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. From the harvest date, tailored to each plot, through the management of extraction, to the choices of aging methods, everything is carefully considered to produce an intense, balanced, and dynamic Pessac-Léognan. The wine from Trigant is distinguished by aromatic notes of black fruits, which impart its character and elegance. The château has just been restored and now includes 7 guest rooms as well as a 220 m² reception hall for seminars and weddings.
