Château Haut-Plantade

Château Haut-Plantade is a beautiful family-run estate spanning 10.5 hectares, located on the oldest Bordeaux vineyard terroir, in the heart of the Pessac-Léognan appellation, and neighboring the most prestigious Léognan properties (Domaine de Chevalier, Château Malartic-Lagravière, and Château de Fieuzal). Château Haut-Plantade practices “sustainable viticulture,” with daily work on the land and vines aimed at optimizing environmental practices, minimizing impacts on the estate’s flora and fauna. It received the High Environmental Value (HEV) Level III certification in 2019, confirmed in 2021. Discreetly, the vineyard has been built up gradually over the past forty years, preferring to “produce less to produce better.”
