Château Lamothe-Bouscaut

Château Lamothe-Bouscaut, located 200 meters from Château Bouscaut, appeared as a vineyard on Belleyme’s map in the 18th century under the name Château Lamothe. The name was later changed to include the place name “Bouscaut” in 1881. The current Château is built on an old fortress from the 12th century. In 1969, the vineyards were leased to the Cru Classé de Graves Château Bouscaut, which acquired them in 1999.
