Château Le Thil

Remarkably located, this 8-hectare vineyard is meticulously cared for and produces healthy grapes harvested by hand in optimal conditions. Throughout its slow and meticulous maturation, the red wine ages for 18 months in barrels. Owned by the family since 1830, Château Le Thil, built in the early 18th century, was completely remodeled in the 19th century by Jeanne Clary, the granddaughter of Nicolas Clary, the brother of Désiré Clary, who, by marrying Marshal Bernadotte, became Queen of Sweden and Norway. Their descendants sit on the thrones of many European royal families. The classified park, designed in the 19th century by Louis-Ferdinand Fischer, is of exceptional beauty. The property was acquired by the owners of Château Smith Haut Lafitte in 2012.
